Hello, and thanks for stopping by.
Here you’ll find philosophical and poetic musings on all things ‘lost’ — lost words, lost authors, lost people — all in a personal quest to uncover the art of modern living in midlife and beyond.
I publish once a week (Tuesday, 11 a.m. NZST), and additionally on a Friday if the muse within deeply desires to share an insight.
About me:
I am an aspiring author from Auckland, New Zealand. A chemical engineer by trade, I have recently taken a career pause to deepen my writing practice as preparation for the second half of my life.

About Zenith Lewelyn:
Zenith Lewelyn is my muse through a ‘sondering’ sidequest in midlife.
She offers the realisation that each random passerby is the main character of their own story and that the world is full of hidden passageways created by the rich epics of everyone who has ever lived.
She recognises the alchemical catalysts, the authors whose stories allow their readers to purify themselves and reintegrate into their natural state.
She gives me permission to discover and honour forgotten words and those who wrote them, and to leave my own words in these concealed passageways of life for someone new to find.
Onwards…
